INTERNAL AUDITOR

Finitera is an international fin-tech company offering various financial services including payday and instalment loans. The group successfully operates in emerging markets across Europe and covers all important business development areas: operations, IT, legal, marketing, finance, client relations, business intelligence, risk and credit scoring.

Currently, we are looking for a highly analytical professional with solid auditing / business control experience as the Group level Internal Auditor responsible for six markets. You will be responsible for assessing whether our group organizations are meeting the goals and objectives set forth by the management and identify process shortfalls in order to make suggestions for improvement. If you are a business oriented, data-driven personality who values evidence over ego, this is the job for you!

Main responsibilities:

  • Objectively review an organization's business processes and suggest improvements;

  • Evaluate the efficiency of risk and fraud management procedures that are currently in place;

  • Make recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes;

  • Work closely with functional teams across the company to ensure priorities are aligned to strategic goals;

  • Ensure all strategies are in line with applicable regulatory guidelines;

  • Communicate results to diverse audiences;

  • Follow up and ensure implementation of audit recommendations.

 

Main requirements:

  • Degree in Business administration, Finance or other related disciplines;

  • At least 3 years of successful experience in directly related area (internal, external audit, business control etc.);

  • Highly analytical individual with strong strategical capabilities and ability to see behind the numbers;

  • Good understanding of financial and business processes;

  • Ability to work independently and plan your own time to reach maximum efficiency;

  • Business oriented and hands-on approach;

  • Willingness and ability to go on extended business trips to multiple countries;

  • Brilliant communication skills;

  • Fluency in English.
