IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

The group successfully operates in emerging markets across Europe and covers all important business development areas: operations, IT, legal, marketing, finance, client relations, business intelligence, risk and credit scoring.

Currently, we are looking for a highly talented, analytical individual with a strong technical background and problem-solving skills to make a significant contribution to the continued growth of a successful architectural practice. As the IT System Administrator, you will provide support for the companies` infrastructure with focus on end user support in multiple markets with the help of external as well as internal resources available.

Main responsibilities:

  • Centrally manage and administrate group Active directory;

  • Provide support to end users which include desktop/laptop, printers;

  • Monitor companies network;

  • Switches, routers and firewall – maintenance, administration and support;

  • Support virtual server/desktop infrastructure;

  • Maintain IT -based company documentation and uphold policies;

  • Liaise with users and third-party suppliers;

  • Provide desktop maintenance with patches/drivers and software updates;

  • Test and deploy new hardware and software;

  • Track and maintain IT hardware assets;

  • Produce and maintain training guides;

  • Understanding the business processes and coming up with own ideas on how to improve them with new technical solutions.

 

Main requirements:

  • At least 2 years of successful experience in similar support role;

  • A thorough working knowledge for Microsoft Windows 2016 Server and associate software, Windows desktop operating systems and Office 365, network connectivity and security;

  • Experience with physical networking, network protocols, services and security, including TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, LDAP;

  • Advanced hardware and software troubleshooting skills;

  • Experience in firewall installation and administration, like Sophos, Fortinet etc., also in desktop endpoint protection solutions;

  • Knowledge of VMware, also of data backup solutions;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to plan, prioritize & execute set plans as well as track and measure the progress;

  • Ability to work autonomously and plan Your own time to reach maximum efficiency;

  • Fluency in English.
